Khutbah Pertama

Segala puji bagi Allah, Dzat yang kemurahan-Nya tiada batas, yang pahala-Nya penuh karunia. Dia mendorong kita untuk bersedekah dan berbuat baik, serta menjanjikan ganjaran dan keridhaan-Nya.
Kita bersaksi bahwa tiada tuhan selain Allah semata, tiada sekutu bagi-Nya, dan kita bersaksi bahwa Nabi kita Muhammad adalah utusan Allah dan penutup para nabi. Semoga salawat, salam, dan rahmat Allah tercurah kepada beliau, keluarganya, sahabat-sahabatnya, serta semua orang yang mengikuti mereka dalam kebaikan.

Amma ba’du:
Aku wasiatkan kepada kalian, wahai hamba-hamba Allah, dan juga kepada diriku sendiri, agar senantiasa bertakwa kepada Allah, sebagaimana firman-Nya:

﴿وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّهُ وَتَزَوَّدُوا فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الزَّادِ التَّقْوَى﴾

“Dan apa pun kebaikan yang kamu lakukan, Allah mengetahuinya. Dan berbekallah kamu, sesungguhnya sebaik-baik bekal adalah takwa.”

Wahai orang-orang beriman, memberi adalah perbuatan iman yang luhur dan nilai kemanusiaan yang tinggi. Ia adalah dasar saling tolong-menolong, inti solidaritas, dan puncak kebajikan.

Budaya memberi berarti memberi tanpa mengharap balasan, menunjukkan kemurahan tanpa pamrih, dan memberi tanpa harga, semata-mata mencari keridhaan dan pahala dari Allah Yang Maha Tinggi.

Wahai hamba-hamba Allah, ladang memberi itu luas, dan pintu-pintunya banyak. Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

«‌كُلُّ ‌مَعْرُوفٍ ‌صَدَقَةٌ»

“Setiap perbuatan baik adalah sedekah.”

Dengan hadis mulia ini, Rasulullah ﷺ menanamkan dalam hati para sahabat budaya memberi dan cinta pada kedermawanan dalam segala bentuknya. Jika satu pintu memberi tertutup, mereka akan membuka pintu lain.

Maka, menyumbangkan harta secara sukarela adalah bentuk sedekah; membangun masjid dan rumah sakit adalah bentuk sedekah; berbagi ilmu dan keahlian adalah bentuk sedekah; membantu orang lain dengan cara apa pun juga merupakan sedekah.

Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

«تَعْدِلُ بَيْنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَتُعِينُ الرَّجُلَ فِي دَابَّتِهِ فَتَحْمِلُهُ عَلَيْهَا، أَوْ تَرْفَعُ لَهُ عَلَيْهَا مَتَاعَهُ؛ صَدَقَةٌ، وَالْكَلِمَةُ ‌الطَّيِّبَةُ ‌صَدَقَةٌ … وَتُمِيطُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ»

“Mendamaikan dua orang adalah sedekah, membantu seseorang menaiki kendaraannya atau mengangkat barangnya adalah sedekah, ucapan yang baik adalah sedekah, dan menyingkirkan halangan dari jalan adalah sedekah.”

Dan ketika Nabi ﷺ ditanya, “Siapakah manusia yang paling dicintai oleh Allah, dan amal apa yang paling dicintai oleh Allah?” Beliau menjawab:

«أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَنْفَعُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ، وَأَحَبُّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ سُرُورٌ تُدْخِلُهُ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ، أَوْ تَكْشِفُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً، أَوْ تَقْضِي عَنْهُ دَيْنًا، أَوْ تَطْرُدُ عَنْهُ جُوعًا…»

“Manusia yang paling dicintai Allah adalah yang paling bermanfaat bagi manusia lainnya. Dan amal yang paling dicintai Allah adalah memberi kebahagiaan kepada seorang Muslim, meringankan kesusahannya, melunasi utangnya, atau menghilangkan lapar darinya.”

Semua itu adalah bentuk dan jalan mulia dari kedermawanan. Di antara bentuk tertinggi dari memberi adalah memberikan makanan dan air minum.

Suatu ketika Nabi ﷺ melewati sekelompok orang yang sedang menimba air untuk memberi minum orang lain, lalu beliau bersabda:

«اعْمَلُوا؛ فَإِنَّكُمْ عَلَى عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ»

“Teruslah berbuat, karena kalian sedang melakukan amal saleh.”

Beliau kemudian menambahkan bahwa beliau ingin ikut serta, tetapi khawatir orang-orang akan berbondong-bondong menirunya hingga menghambat amal tersebut.

Lihatlah bagaimana semangat Rasulullah ﷺ dalam berpartisipasi dalam amal yang bermanfaat bagi sesama.

Wahai hamba-hamba Allah, di antara sedekah yang paling besar manfaatnya dan tinggi pahalanya adalah wakaf, karena manfaatnya luas dan kebaikannya terus-menerus.

Termasuk pula di dalamnya adalah mendonorkan darah, jaringan, dan organ tubuh, sesuai dengan ketentuan syariat dan peraturan resmi, karena dengan itu nyawa bisa terselamatkan. Allah berfirman:

﴿وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا﴾

“Barang siapa menyelamatkan satu jiwa, maka seolah-olah dia telah menyelamatkan seluruh manusia.”

Donasi semacam ini menghidupkan jiwa, menumbuhkan harapan, membawa kebahagiaan kepada keluarga. Sungguh, tiada sedekah yang lebih mulia dan lebih besar pahalanya di sisi Allah daripada ini.

Berbahagialah mereka yang memberikan kehidupan melalui darahnya, kesembuhan melalui tubuhnya, dan kasih sayang melalui kedermawanannya — mereka adalah orang-orang yang saleh dan penuh iman.

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ﴾

“Wahai orang-orang beriman, taatilah Allah, taatilah Rasul, dan ulil amri di antara kalian.”

Aku sampaikan ini dan aku memohon ampun kepada Allah untuk diriku dan kalian semua. Maka mohonlah ampun kepada-Nya, sesungguhnya Dia Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

Khutbah Kedua

Segala puji bagi Allah, yang menjadikan sedekah dan memberi sebagai pintu besar menuju kebajikan dan cara mulia meraih pahala.
Salawat dan salam semoga tercurah kepada Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, penutup para rasul, beserta keluarganya, sahabatnya, dan orang-orang yang mengikuti mereka hingga hari kiamat.

Wahai orang-orang beriman, memberi bukanlah tindakan sesaat, tetapi kebiasaan luhur yang menumbuhkan kasih sayang, mempererat persatuan, dan meneguhkan kepedulian sosial di tengah masyarakat.

Melalui memberi, hati menemukan kebahagiaan, jiwa merasakan ketenangan, dan diri dipenuhi kepuasan, sebagaimana firman Allah:

﴿وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى﴾

“Dan dia pasti akan ridha.”

Dengan sedekah dan memberi, jiwa dibersihkan dari sifat kikir dan dibebaskan dari keegoisan.
Allah berfirman:

﴿وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ﴾

“Dan barang siapa dijaga dari kekikiran dirinya, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang beruntung.”

Dan di akhirat, Allah akan mengganti setiap pemberian dengan balasan berlipat ganda, sebagaimana firman-Nya:

﴿وَمَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ﴾

“Apa saja yang kamu infakkan, Allah akan menggantinya, dan Dia adalah sebaik-baik pemberi rezeki.”

﴿وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ﴾

“Dan apa yang di sisi Allah lebih baik dan lebih kekal. Tidakkah kamu mengerti?”

Maka, wahai hamba-hamba Allah, janganlah kalian menghalangi diri dari keutamaan memberi, meskipun hanya dengan hal kecil atau kebaikan sederhana. Tanamkan budaya memberi di keluarga kalian, ajarkan kepada anak-anak kalian, niscaya Allah akan meridhai kalian dan masyarakat akan makmur.

Ya Allah, jadikan kedermawanan sebagai budaya kami, memberi sebagai jalan kami, kelembutan sebagai akhlak kami, dan kebaikan sebagai tabiat kami. Jadikan kami hamba-hamba yang bermanfaat bagi sesama, cepat dalam kebaikan, dan tulus dalam mencari ridha-Mu.

Ya Allah, anugerahkan kepada kami hati yang dermawan, yang memberi tanpa menahan, berbuat baik tanpa sombong, bersedekah tanpa ragu, dan berlomba dalam kebaikan tanpa menunda — hati yang hanya mencari wajah-Mu dan pahala-Mu.

Ya Allah, limpahkan salawat dan salam kepada Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, keluarganya, sahabatnya, dan para pengikutnya.
Ya Allah, ridailah Abu Bakar, Umar, Utsman, Ali, dan seluruh sahabat yang mulia.

Ya Allah, jadikan kami hamba-hamba-Mu yang beriman, tekun beribadah, gemar bersedekah, berbakti kepada orang tua, dan limpahkan rahmat kepada mereka sebagaimana mereka mendidik kami di waktu kecil.

Wahai Dzat yang tak pernah menolak doa hamba-Nya, yang tak mengecewakan orang yang berharap kepada-Nya — siapa yang berdoa kepada-Mu lalu Engkau tidak mengabulkan? Siapa yang berlindung kepada-Mu lalu Engkau tidak melindungi? Siapa yang memohon pertolongan kepada-Mu lalu Engkau tidak menolong?
Bimbinglah kami dengan petunjuk-Mu, luruskan amal kami, kabulkan kebutuhan kami, sembuhkan yang sakit di antara kami, rahmatilah yang telah wafat, lindungi anak-anak kami, dan berikan kebahagiaan bagi keluarga kami, wahai Tuhan semesta alam.

Ya Allah, lindungilah negeri Uni Emirat Arab ini dengan penjagaan-Mu, curahkan rahmat dan perlindungan-Mu atasnya, wahai Tuhan semesta alam.

Ya Allah, peliharalah Presiden, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, anugerahkan kepadanya kebijaksanaan dan kebaikan yang terus-menerus, serta berilah taufik kepada para pemimpin Emirat dalam segala hal yang Engkau cintai dan ridai.

Ya Allah, rahmatilah Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, dan para pemimpin Emirat yang telah berpulang dalam rahmat-Mu. Masukkan mereka ke dalam surga-Mu yang luas, dan limpahkan ampunan-Mu kepada para syuhada bangsa ini.

Ya Allah, rahmatilah kaum Muslimin dan Muslimat, yang hidup maupun yang telah meninggal.
Ya Allah, wahai Dzat yang Maha Pemurah, turunkan hujan kepada kami, dan janganlah Engkau jadikan kami termasuk orang-orang yang putus asa. Ya Allah, turunkan hujan kepada kami! Ya Allah, turunkan hujan kepada kami!

Ya Allah, kami memohon ampun kepada-Mu — Engkau Maha Pengampun — maka turunkanlah kepada kami hujan yang lebat, bermanfaat, dan membawa keberkahan; yang menghidupkan bumi, menolong manusia, dan menjadi sumber rezeki dan kekuatan.

Wahai hamba-hamba Allah, ingatlah Allah Yang Maha Agung niscaya Dia akan mengingat kalian, dan bersyukurlah atas nikmat-Nya niscaya Dia akan menambahkannya. Dan dirikanlah salat.

Khutbah Bahasa Arab

Berikut adalah teks khutbah dalam bahasa Arab, semoga bermanfaat

الخطبة الأولى:

الحمد لله الواسع في عطائه، الكريم في جزائه، دعا إلى التبرع والإحسان، ووعد بالأجر والرضوان، ونشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، ونشهد أن سيدنا محمدا رسول الله، صلى الله وسلم وبارك عليه وعلى آله وصحبه ومن والاه.

أما بعد: فأوصيكم عباد الله ونفسي بتقوى الله، ﴿وما تفعلوا من خير يعلمه الله وتزودوا فإن خير الزاد التقوى﴾.

أيها المؤمنون: قيمة إيمانية سامية، وثقافة إنسانية راقية، هي أصل التكامل، وجوهر التكافل، وذروة الفضائل، إنها ثقافة التبرع، وتعني: العطاء بلا مقابل، والتفضل بلا عوض، والبذل بلا ثمن، ابتغاء وجه الله، وطلبا لمرضاته جل في علاه. وميادين التبرع يا عباد الله واسعة، وأبوابه متنوعة، قال رسول الله ﷺ: «‌كل ‌معروف ‌صدقة»،

بهذا الحديث النبوي الشريف؛ غرس ﷺ في قلوب أصحابه ثقافة التبرع، وحب البذل من كل باب، فإن أغلق باب طرقوا آخر، فبذل المال -تطوعا- تبرع، وبناء المساجد والمستشفيات تبرع، وتقديم العلم والخبرة تبرع، ومساعدة الناس تبرع، قال ﷺ: «تعدل بين الاثنين صدقة، وتعين الرجل في دابته، فتحمله عليها أو ترفع له عليها متاعه؛ صدقة، والكلمة ‌الطيبة ‌صدقة … وتميط الأذى عن الطريق صدقة»،

وعندما سئل عليه الصلاة والسلام: أي الناس أحب إلى الله، وأي الأعمال أحب إلى الله؟ قال ﷺ: «أحب الناس إلى الله أنفعهم للناس، وأحب الأعمال إلى الله سرور تدخله على مسلم، أو تكشف عنه كربة، أو تقضي عنه دينا، أو تطرد عنه جوعا…».

وكلها من أوجه التبرع العظيمة، وأبوابه الجليلة، ومن أسمى تلك الأبواب وأنفعها: الجود بالطعام، وسقي الماء، فهذا نبينا وحبيبنا ﷺ يمر على قوم تبرعوا بإخراج الماء من البئر لسقاية الناس، فشجعهم قائلا: «اعملوا؛ فإنكم على عمل صالح»، ثم قال: «لولا أن تغلبوا –أي: يزاحمكم الناس على السقاية- لنزلت حتى أضع الحبل على هذه». يعني: عاتقه الشريف ﷺ، فانظروا إلى حرصه ﷺ على التبرع بما ينفع الآخرين.

عباد الله: إن من أعظم صور التبرع أثرا، وأكبرها أجرا؛ الوقف، لعموم نفعه، واستدامة خيره، وكذلك التبرع بالدم والأنسجة والأعضاء، وفق الضوابط الشرعية، والقوانين الرسمية، ففيه إنقاذ للنفس البشرية، وربنا جل وعلا يقول: ﴿ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعا﴾ إنه تبرع تحيا به الأرواح، وتبتهج القلوب، ويعيد الأمل، ويدخل السرور على الأسر، فأي تبرع أرفع منه قدرا، وأعلى منه فضلا، وأعظم عند الله أجرا؟ فطوبى لمن بذل من دمه حياة، ومن جسده نجاة، ومن عطائه رحمة ومواساة، أولئك أهل البر والإحسان، الذين امتلأت قلوبهم بالرحمة والإيمان.

﴿يا أيها الذين آمنوا أطيعوا الله وأطيعوا الرسول وأولي الأمر منكم﴾.

أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم فاستغفروه.

الخطبة الثانية:

الحمد لله الذي جعل التبرع بابا عظيما من أبواب البر، وسبيلا كريما لنيل الأجر، والصلاة والسلام على سيدنا محمد خاتم المرسلين، وعلى آله وصحبه والتابعين.

أما بعد: فيا أيها المؤمنون: إن التبرع ليس عملا عابرا، بل هو خلق راسخ، وسلوك مستدام، يجسد تلاحم المجتمعات وترابطها، ويعلي قيم التكافل والتراحم بينها، يجد فيه المتبرع سعادة قلبه، وانشراح صدره، ورضا نفسه، مصداقا لقول الله تعالى: ﴿ولسوف يرضى﴾

وبالتبرع تزكو النفس من بخلها، وتتخلص من شحها، قال سبحانه: ﴿ومن يوق شح نفسه فأولئك هم المفلحون﴾ وفي الآخرة يعوض الله المتبرعين عما تبرعوا، ويعطيهم أضعاف ما بذلوا، كما قال جل شأنه: ﴿وما أنفقتم من شيء فهو يخلفه وهو خير الرازقين﴾ ﴿وما عند الله خير وأبقى أفلا تعقلون﴾.

فلا تحرموا أنفسكم فضل التبرع وثوابه، ولو بأقل ما تستطيعون، وأيسر ما تحسنون، وعززوا ثقافة التبرع في أسركم، واغرسوها في أولادكم، يرض عنكم ربكم، ويسعد مجتمعكم.

اللهم اجعل التبرع ثقافتنا، والعطاء نهجنا، والكرم خلقنا، والسخاء شيمتنا، واجعلنا لخلقك نافعين، ولأبواب البر موفقين، وإلى ميادين الخير سابقين، ولوجهك مخلصين.

اللهم ارزقنا قلوبا سخية، تعطي ولا تضن، وتحسن ولا تمن، وتتبرع ولا تتوقف، وتسارع في الخير ولا تتخلف، وتبتغي بعطائها وجهك، وبتبرعها رضاك وأجرك.

اللهم صل وسلم على سيدنا ونبينا محمد خاتم المرسلين، وعلى آله وصحبه والتابعين، وارض اللهم عن أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي، وعن سائر الصحابة الأكرمين.

اللهم اجعلنا بك مؤمنين، ولك عابدين، وإلى التبرع سباقين، وبوالدينا بارين، وارحمهم كما ربونا صغارا يا أرحم الراحمين، يا من لا ترد من ناداك، ولا تخيب من رجاك، من الذي دعاك فلم تجبه، من الذي استجارك فلم تجره، ومن الذي استعان بك فلم تعنه، اهدنا بهداك، واجعل عملنا في رضاك، واقض حوائجنا، واشف مرضانا، وارحم موتانا، واحفظ أولادنا، وأسعد أسرنا يا رب العالمين.

اللهم احفظ دولة الإمارات بحفظك، وتولها برعايتك، وحطها بعنايتك، يا رب العالمين.

اللهم احفظ بحفظك الشيخ محمد بن زايد رئيس الدولة، وأدم عليه لباس السداد والحكمة، ووفقه ونوابه وإخوانه حكام الإمارات، وولي عهده الأمين؛ لما تحبه وترضاه.

اللهم ارحم الشيخ زايد، والشيخ راشد، وسائر شيوخ الإمارات الذين انتقلوا إلى رحمتك، وأدخلهم بفضلك فسيح جناتك، واشمل شهداء الوطن برحمتك وغفرانك.

اللهم ارحم المسلمين والمسلمات: الأحياء منهم والأموات.

اللهم يا واسع الرحمة، ويا عظيم المنة، ‌اسقنا ‌الغيث ولا تجعلنا من القانطين. اللهم أغثنا، اللهم أغثنا، اللهم أغثنا. اللهم إنا نستغفرك إنك كنت غفارا، فأرسل السماء علينا مدرارا.

اللهم اسقنا غيثا مغيثا، هنيئا مريئا، تحيي به البلاد، وترحم به العباد، وتجعله قوة وبلاغا ‌إلى ‌حين.

عباد الله: اذكروا الله العظيم الجليل يذكركم، واشكروه على نعمه يزدكم. وأقم الصلاة.

First Khutbah:

All praise is due to Allah, the One whose generosity knows no limits, whose rewards are full of grace. He urges us to charity and benevolence, and He promises reward and divine pleasure, and He promises reward and divine pleasure. We bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone without partner, and we bear witness that our Prophet Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets. May Allah’s peace, blessings, and mercy be upon him, his family, his companions, and all who follow him in righteousness.

To proceed: I advise you, servants of Allah, and myself, to have taqwa of Allah, for He Almighty says: ﴿وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّهُ وَتَزَوَّدُوا فَإِنَّ خَيْرَ الزَّادِ التَّقْوَى﴾.

“And whatever good you do, Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is taqwa.”

O Believers: Giving is a lofty act of faith and a refined human value. It is the foundation of mutual support, the essence of solidarity, and the peak of virtue.

The culture of giving means giving without expecting anything in return, showing generosity without seeking compensation, and offering without a price, seeking only the pleasure and reward of Allah, the Most High.

O servants of Allah, the fields of giving are vast, and its doors are many. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «‌كُلُّ ‌مَعْرُوفٍ ‌صَدَقَةٌ»

“Every act of goodness is a charity.”

With this noble hadith, the Prophet ﷺ instilled in the hearts of His Companions the culture of giving and the love of voluntary generosity in every form. If one door of giving was closed, they would open another.

Thus, donating wealth voluntarily is a form of charity; building mosques and hospitals is a form of charity; offering knowledge and expertise is a form of charity; and helping others in any way is also a form of charity.

The Prophet ﷺ said: «تَعْدِلُ بَيْنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَتُعِينُ الرَّجُلَ فِي دَابَّتِهِ فَتَحْمِلُهُ عَلَيْهَا، أَوْ تَرْفَعُ لَهُ عَلَيْهَا مَتَاعَهُ؛ صَدَقَةٌ، وَالْكَلِمَةُ ‌الطَّيِّبَةُ ‌صَدَقَةٌ … وَتُمِيطُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ»

“Reconciling between two people is charity; helping a man with his mount by lifting him onto it or raising his belongings onto it is charity; a kind word is charity; and removing something harmful from the road is charity.”

 And when the Prophet ﷺ was asked, “Which people are most beloved to Allah, and which deeds are most beloved to Allah?” He replied: «أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَنْفَعُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ، وَأَحَبُّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ سُرُورٌ تُدْخِلُهُ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ، أَوْ تَكْشِفُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً، أَوْ تَقْضِي عَنْهُ دَيْنًا، أَوْ تَطْرُدُ عَنْهُ جُوعًا…».

“The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others; and the most beloved of deeds to Allah are bringing joy to a Muslim, relieving him from distress, paying off his debt, or warding off his hunger.”

All of these are great forms and noble avenues of voluntary giving. Among the highest and most beneficial of these are generosity in providing food and offering water to drink.

 Once our Prophet ﷺ passed by a group of people who volunteered to draw water from a well to give it to others to drink, so he encouraged them, saying: «اعْمَلُوا؛ فَإِنَّكُمْ عَلَى عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ»،

“Keep doing this good work, for you are engaged in a righteous deed.”

Then He added: I would have joined you, but I feared that if people saw me doing it, they would all rush to copy me. So many would come that they would overwhelm you and take this good deed away from you.

 Look, then, at how eager the Prophet ﷺ was to take part in acts of charity that benefit others.

Servants of Allah:  Among the greatest and most impactful forms of charity, and those with the highest reward, is endowment (waqf) for its wide-reaching benefit and continuous goodness.

Also included is donating blood, tissues, and organs, in accordance with the Islamic legal guidelines and official regulations, for through such donations lives are saved. And our Lord, glory be to Him, says: ﴿وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا﴾

“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he had saved all of humanity.”

Such donations give life to souls, bring joy to hearts, restore hope, and bring happiness to families. What form of charity could be nobler, more virtuous, or more greatly rewarded by Allah than this?

Glad tidings, then, to those who give life from their own blood, healing from their own bodies, and mercy and compassion through their giving, these are the people of righteousness and benevolence, whose hearts are filled with mercy and faith.

. ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ﴾.

“O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.”

I say these words of mine and I ask Allah’s forgiveness for myself and for you, so seek His forgiveness, indeed, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Second Sermon:

All praise is due to Allah, who has made giving and donation a great gate of righteousness and a noble means to attain reward.
And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad the Seal of the Messengers and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.

O believers: Giving is not a passing act, but rather a deep-rooted virtue and a continuous behaviour that strengthens the bonds of society and promotes unity and compassion among its members.

Through giving, the donor finds joy in the heart, peace in the soul, and contentment within, in fulfilment of the saying of Allah the Almighty: ﴿وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى﴾

“And he will surely be pleased.”
Through charity and giving, the soul is purified from stinginess and freed from selfishness.

Allah the Almighty says: ﴿وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ﴾

“And whoever is saved from the greed of his own soul, it is they who are the successful.”

And in the Hereafter, Allah will compensate the donors for whatever they have given, granting them many times over what they have spent, as He, Exalted be His Majesty, says:

﴿وَمَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ﴾

“And whatever you spend of anything [in charity] He will replace it; and He is the best of providers.” ﴿وَمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ﴾

“And what is with Allah is better and more lasting. Will you not then understand?”

So, O servants of Allah, do not deprive yourselves of the virtue and reward of giving, even through the smallest act you can afford or the simplest good you can offer. Strengthen the culture of giving within your families, instill it in your children, and your Lord will be pleased with you, and your community will prosper.

O Allah, make generosity our culture, giving our way, kindness our character, and benevolence our nature. Make us beneficial to Your creation, successful in doing good, swift to the fields of righteousness, and sincere in seeking Your pleasure.

O Allah, grant us generous hearts
that give without withholding, that do good without boasting, that donate without hesitation, that hasten to goodness without delay, hearts that seek Your Face through their giving, and Your pleasure and reward through their charity.

O Allah, send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Messengers, and upon his family, his companions, and the followers. And be pleased, O Allah, with Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, and with all the honorable companions.

O Allah, make us believers in You, worshippers of You, foremost in charity, and dutiful to our parents. And have mercy upon them as they raised us when we were young, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

O You who does not turn away those who call upon You, and who does not disappoint those who hope in You. Who is it that called upon You and You did not answer? Who is it that sought Your protection and You did not grant it? And who is it that sought Your help and You did not assist him? Guide us with Your guidance, make our deeds according to Your pleasure, fulfill our needs, cure our sick, have mercy on our deceased, protect our children, and grant happiness to our families, O Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, protect the state of the UAE with Your protection, attend to it with Your care, and surround it with Your providence, O Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, preserve the President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, grant him perpetual righteousness and wisdom, and grant success to him, his deputies, his brothers the Rulers of the Emirates, and his trustworthy Crown Prince in all that You love and are pleased with.

O Allah, have mercy upon Sheikh Zayed, Sheikh Rashid, and all the sheikhs of the Emirates who have passed into Your mercy. Admit them, by Your grace, into Your spacious gardens, and include the martyrs of our nation in Your mercy and forgiveness.

O Allah, have mercy on the Muslim men and Muslim women, the living among them and the dead.

O Allah, O You of Vast Mercy, O You of Great Favor, grant us rain and do not make us among the despondent. O Allah, send us rain! O Allah, send us rain!

 O Allah, send us rain! O Allah, we seek Your forgiveness, indeed You are Ever-Forgiving, so send down upon us abundant rain from the sky. O Allah, grant us a relieving rain, wholesome and beneficial, with which You revive the land, have mercy on the people, and make it a source of strength and provision for a time.

Servants of Allah: Remember Allah, the Great, the Majestic, and He will remember you. And thank Him for His blessings, and He will increase you. And establish the prayer.
